Position Overview:
The Supply Chain & Logistics Coordinator is responsible for facilitating and optimizing supply chain operations. This includes coordinating procurement, logistics, inventory control, and vendor communications. The role ensures smooth and timely movement of materials and goods while supporting the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
Order Processing and Coordination:
Oversee the processing of purchase orders, ensuring timely procurement of goods and services.
Track and coordinate orders, deliveries, and shipments to ensure on-time receipt of materials.
Logistics Support:
Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, working with logistics providers to ensure the efficient and cost-effective transportation of goods.
Resolve any shipping or delivery issues, ensuring minimal disruption to the supply chain.
Vendor and Supplier Relations:
Communicate with suppliers and vendors to confirm order details, delivery schedules, and product specifications.
Build and maintain positive working relationships with suppliers to ensure smooth and reliable supply operations.
Inventory Management:
Monitor inventory levels and initiate purchase orders as needed to maintain optimal stock levels.
Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
Data Entry and Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of purchase orders, delivery notes, inventory levels, and shipping information.
Input and update data into ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) to track materials and inventory.
Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams:
Collaborate with procurement, finance, production, and sales teams to ensure alignment between supply chain activities and company goals.
Assist in resolving supply chain-related issues and ensuring seamless operations between departments.
Compliance and Reporting:
Ensure compliance with company policies, supplier agreements, and regulatory requirements related to supply chain activities.
Prepare and generate reports on supply chain performance, including order accuracy, delivery timelines, and inventory status.
Qualifications:
A Diploma in procurement, supply chain, business administration, or a related field is a plus.
Previous experience in supply chain or a similar role is helpful but not required.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and SAP is a plus.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
A keen eye for detail and accuracy.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

At Rosso, we are dedicated to delivering an unparalleled specialty coffee experience, driven by continuous improvement, exceptional customer service, and meaningful community impact. We seek a strategic and proactive and data driven Supply Chain Manager to execute on everything Purchasing, Logistics, Forecasting and Inventory Accuracy.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Supply Chain Specialist will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless flow of goods, maintain 98.5% inventory accuracy, and oversee logistics coordination and vendor contract management.
Key Responsibilities
Forecasting and Planning
Analyze sales data, production schedules and seasonal trends to forecast demand
Collaborate with Production and Sales teams to plan purchasing and roasting schedules
Identify risks of shortages or overstock and take proactive corrective actions
Contribute to budgeting and financial forecasting related to materials and logistics
Support the Cafe Teams with planning and execution of order and receipt
Purchasing and Vendor Management
Develop and manage relationships with suppliers and service providers
Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms to optimize cost, quality and reliability
Evaluate supplier performance and ensure compliance with Rosso Standards
Identify and onboard new vendors for supply redundancy on mission critical items
Inventory Management
Lead collaborative efforts with the Warehouse and Production Team to ensure inventory accuracy of 98.5% or higher across all product categories
Monitor stock levels and set appropriate pars for all items, reviewing and adjusting quarterly
Support on cycle counts and reconciling process deficiencies that are leading to inaccuracies
Complete understanding of the physical process and the system process are critical
Understanding Cafe processes and paving the way for automation to take over the order process
Process Improvement & Data Management
Use data to analytics to improve accuracy and efficiency throughout the business
Implement systems or tools to enhance visibility, reporting and decision making
Team Collaboration & Leadership
Work cross-functionally with Operations, Production, and Finance teams.
Provide clear communication to internal stakeholders on supply statuses or risks
Train and support team members involved in inventory and logistic processes
Experience
Experience in Inventory Management and/or supply chain roles (required).
Experience in manufacturing, food production, or CPG environments is an asset.
Experience working with customs brokers and freight forwarders preferred.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data for actionable decisions.
Excellent communication, organization, and vendor management skills.
Systems-oriented mindset with comfort working in ERP and reporting tools.

Shift: Monday to Friday from 3pm to 9:30pm
We are looking for a highly organized, proactive, and customer-focused Logistics Coordinator to support our operations over an 18-month contract term. In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring the smooth coordination of inbound and outbound shipments, and you'll be the face of our operation for delivery drivers arriving on-site.
What You Will Do
Act as the first point of contact for incoming drivers
Direct driver flow including check in, dock door assignment, and checkout after departure
Maintain accurate records of inbound and outbound shipments
Verify product counts and ensure system data accuracy
Coordinate with warehouse and transportation teams to ensure documentation is completed accurately and on time
Notify carriers and internal stakeholders of no shows, delays, and unscheduled arrivals
Engage directly with drivers to reschedule appointments when needed
Enter and manage appointments within the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
May receive, count, and record payments from carriers where applicable
What Makes You a Great Fit
Strong communication skills with the ability to interact clearly with drivers, warehouse teams, and office personnel
Proficient with computers and familiar with Microsoft Office Suite
Strong attention to detail with a focus on accurate counts and logistics data
Comfortable working in environments that may range from cold storage temperatures (-25°C or -20°F) to warmer dry warehouses (up to 37°C or 100°F)
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs (9 kg) if needed
Willingness to work flexible shifts and occasional weekends when required
Ability to thrive in a busy, sometimes loud environment
