We are seeking a highly motivated and student-centered Admissions Specialist to guide prospective students from inquiry to enrolment.
You will work closely with students, helping them learn more about the College and eventually guiding them to enrolment in a professional and compliant manner.
This is primarily a Sales position and will require meeting targets and work on evenings or weekends, as needed. Any schedule changes will be communicated well in advance.
Key Responsibilities:
· Advise and enroll prospective students into New West College through direct outreach, follow-up and consultative advising. This may include but not be limited to phone calls, in-person/virtual meetings or light travel.
· Contact prospective students promptly after a lead is submitted and follow the appropriate contact workflows.
· Work closely with Marketing to ensure that quality leads are being obtained through marketing strategies.
· Ensure all admission requirements are met prior to successful admission for all prospective students. This may include administering entrance exams, if required.
· Gather and enter all student records into the Student Information System (SIS) promptly.
· Build on the College’s in-house recruitment processes – from lead generation to enrolment conversion
· Track pipeline activity, conversion rates, and enrolment rates using the College’s CRM and reporting tools.
· Keep up to date with new legislation and regulations that impact the admissions process.
· Collaborate with existing Admissions team to process applications during busy times.
Qualifications:
· Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.
· Minimum of 1+ years of verifiable experience in student admissions, recruitment or enrolment at a post-secondary institution (preferably a PCC).
· Minimum of 1+ years of verifiable experience in B2C sales.
· Experience with and knowledge of HubSpot or similar CRM as it relates to sales pipelines and workflows.
· Working knowledge of Alberta Student Aid application process.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse student populations.
· Ambition to grow.
· Strong interpersonal presence with the ability to actively engage students, faculty, and external partners in a positive and approachable manner.
· Demonstrated enthusiasm for building connections and fostering collaborative relationships in both one-on-one and group settings.
· Comfortable initiating conversations, facilitating discussions, and presenting ideas with confidence to diverse audiences.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, social media, and virtual conferencing tools.

We are seeking a highly motivated and student-centered Digital Marketing & Lead Generation Specialist to drive student recruitment and brand awareness through digital marketing, lead generation and community outreach. The successful candidate will play a key role in growing student enrolment and strengthening the college’s presence across various platforms.
This role is ideal for creative and analytical individuals, who thrive in fast-paced environments and possess the ability to adapt quickly to deliver measurable results.
This is a full-time, in office role (Mon-Fri). Occasional evenings or weekends may be required.
Paid Advertising & Lead Generation:
Plan, launch, and manage paid advertising campaigns across platforms like Google Ads, Meta, and LinkedIn to drive qualified leads
Own the marketing funnel end to end, from first click to enrollment handoff. This may include, but not be limited to: Email campaigns, lead forms, landing pages, blog posts etc.
Design and execute re-engagement campaigns to win back stalled or lost leads through email, SMS, and retargeting ads
Monitor cost per lead, cost per acquisition, and conversion rates, and adjust spend and targeting to hit enrollment targets
Build and optimize landing pages, lead magnets, and forms to improve conversion at every funnel stage
Segment leads based on behavior and program interest to personalize follow up and nurture sequences
A/B test ad creative, copy, and audiences to continuously improve campaign performance
Report weekly and monthly on lead volume, funnel drop off points, and ROI on ad spend
Brand Awareness & Digital Presence:
Develop broader advertising strategies across digital and traditional channels to build long term brand recognition.
Maintain and grow the college's presence on social media platforms relevant to prospective students
Coordinate content that supports brand consistency across the website, social channels, and paid campaigns
Monitor competitor marketing activity and local market trends to keep the college's positioning sharp
Support community and industry partnership initiatives that raise the college's profile
Manage online reputation, including reviews and public facing brand perception
Ancillary:
Collaborate with admissions and enrollment teams to ensure marketing qualified leads convert to actual enrollments
Manage marketing budget allocation between paid acquisition and brand building efforts
Select and manage any external agencies, freelancers, or ad platforms as needed
Qualifications and Skills:
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.
Minimum 2+ years of proven experience with social media management, marketing strategies, running paid advertising campaigns and lead generation.
Strong understanding of lead generation and digital marketing funnels.
Proficient in relevant marketing tools such as Canva, CRM, Meta Ads, Google Ads, Adobe Suite etc.
Ability to take initiative and feedback.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Strong interpersonal presence with the ability to actively engage all relevant stakeholders in a positive and approachable manner.
Demonstrated enthusiasm for building connections and fostering collaborative relationships in both one-on-one and group settings.
Comfortable initiating conversations, facilitating discussions, and presenting ideas with confidence to diverse audiences.
Assets:
Experience with executing marketing strategies for the purposes of student enrolment.

Experience working with Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools as it relates to marketing.
