About the Position
ATS Traffic is currently looking for a Project Coordinator to join our OSS team in Calgary! In this role you will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling our TCP's, LCT's and Drivers and forecasting workload needs. This position will work with OSS Managers, Supervisors, Coordinators, Traffic Technicians and Dispatchers in order to plan and help coordinate projects and necessary equipment for the branch. The successful candidate will be responsible for scheduling and coordinating project needs on a daily basis.

Responsibilities
Responsible for organizing and ensuring clear, concise communications and scheduling with employees regarding status of jobs, delivery/returns, paperwork, procedures, and projects.
Acquire City of Calgary permits, and manage the application process from start to finish.
Assist Supervisors with work orders, jobs, and projects, and provide support for field supervisors
Assist with maintaining the dispatch board, schedule, and perform record keeping as needed
Forecast workload for 2-3 days’ out
Contact with customers to coordinate and schedule their day to day operations.
Suggest equipment and supplies to meet customer needs.
Coordinate with governing authorities specific to job requirements and with inter branch departments for specific job needs.
Assist CSP’s with questions regarding customer requests for job set ups.
Cover dispatch when they are on vacation, day’s off and breaks.
Completion of appropriate seminars, meetings & training to keep abreast of changes in the industry
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Experience with Microsoft office 365 operation system essential.
Previous experience in office administration is an asset
Understanding of Blueprints & project take off's is an asset.
Experience in the Traffic Control/Construction Industry is an asset
Availability to work overtime as required.
As this is a safety-sensitive position, all employees must undergo and pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening. This includes use of marijuana, medical or non.
Ability to successfully pass a Fit Test including lifting between 50 and 75 pounds.
Skills
Knowledge of the rentals, install, traffic tech, dispatch and coordinator roles an asset.
Demonstrated ability to follow operational procedures.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
Ability to learn new technology systems.

Position Summary
Canam is searching for a Procurement & Logistics Coordinator to join our Calgary team. The role is to assist our inside sales, procurement, and logistics operations. This is an entry-level position with room to grow within the company.
This position will be based in S.W. Calgary, AB.
Responsibilities and Duties
Reports to the General Manager.
Processing inquiries from clients as delegated by the General Manager within the deadlines as specified by the clients.
Dealing directly with suppliers, distributors, manufacturers, freight companies, and export crating companies. Submitting request for quotes, evaluating quotes and negotiating terms, such as price, quality of goods, deadlines, expectations, payment etc.
Able to use the internet, search engines, printed directories, and other sources to search for equipment, suppliers, distributors, manufacturers, freight, and export crating options.
Able to read and understand parts books, parts lists, parts & technical drawings, etc, relating to equipment listed on inquiries.
Willingness to learn regarding equipment and building a better understanding of items listed on inquiries.
Manage competitive bid process with multiple vendors, review submitted bids, and present recommendations to Management for approval.
Able to identify and offer different options to clients, offer additional technical information, or suggestions to clients to make quotes more attractive and help in winning orders.
Preparation and processing of quotes to clients and our overseas sales offices.
Evaluating and reviewing purchase orders received from clients and our overseas offices.
Preparation and processing of purchase orders to suppliers, distributors and manufacturers.
Issuing of invoices to clients and the finance department for orders received.
Monitoring the status of invoices and payments relating to orders.
Analyze invoices to ensure the accuracy of goods delivered.
Assist the finance department in reconciling account discrepancies between the invoice and purchase orders.
Following up outstanding orders with suppliers, distributors and manufacturers.
Arranging the shipping of completed orders both domestic and international.
Preparing and issuing export documentation on shipments.
Track and expedite delivery of parts and services to ensure on-time delivery.
Schedule transportation services for incoming and outgoing deliveries.
Updating online trackers and project management systems.
Contacting suppliers, distributors, and manufactures to obtain current status of live orders.
General office duties as required
Assisting in relationship development of clients, suppliers, manufacturers and overseas sales offices.
Education
Minimum grade 12 diploma.
Post-secondary Procurement training would be an asset.
Purchasing Management Association of Canada (PMAC) would be an asset.

RESPONSIBILITES
Follow company standard policies and procedures/processes
Complete purchase order entries in the ERP system Viewpoint
Source vendors
Issue RFQs
Obtain quotes/current rate sheets from vendors
Negotiate costs savings/reduce vendor expenditures
Issue revised purchase orders as required
Expedite orders
Maintain consistent and accurate purchase entries within the ERP system and keep files updated on the company shared drive
Assist in project close out efforts as managed by the assigned purchasing lead
Maintain effective communication with operations and other functional departments
Review invoices discrepancies with accounts payable. Ensure disputes are resolved in a timely manner. Escalate disputes if required to senior level staff
