    Position Overview:

    The Supply Chain & Logistics Coordinator is responsible for facilitating and optimizing supply chain operations. This includes coordinating procurement, logistics, inventory control, and vendor communications. The role ensures smooth and timely movement of materials and goods while supporting the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the supply chain.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Order Processing and Coordination:

    • Oversee the processing of purchase orders, ensuring timely procurement of goods and services.

    • Track and coordinate orders, deliveries, and shipments to ensure on-time receipt of materials.

    Logistics Support:

    • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, working with logistics providers to ensure the efficient and cost-effective transportation of goods.

    • Resolve any shipping or delivery issues, ensuring minimal disruption to the supply chain.

    Vendor and Supplier Relations:

    • Communicate with suppliers and vendors to confirm order details, delivery schedules, and product specifications.

    • Build and maintain positive working relationships with suppliers to ensure smooth and reliable supply operations.

    Inventory Management:

    • Monitor inventory levels and initiate purchase orders as needed to maintain optimal stock levels.

    • Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits to ensure inventory accuracy.

    Data Entry and Record Keeping:

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of purchase orders, delivery notes, inventory levels, and shipping information.

    • Input and update data into ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) to track materials and inventory.

    Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams:

    • Collaborate with procurement, finance, production, and sales teams to ensure alignment between supply chain activities and company goals.

    • Assist in resolving supply chain-related issues and ensuring seamless operations between departments.

    • Compliance and Reporting:

    • Ensure compliance with company policies, supplier agreements, and regulatory requirements related to supply chain activities.

    • Prepare and generate reports on supply chain performance, including order accuracy, delivery timelines, and inventory status.

    Qualifications:

    • A Diploma in procurement, supply chain, business administration, or a related field is a plus.

    • Previous experience in supply chain or a similar role is helpful but not required.

    • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and SAP is a plus.

    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks.

    • A keen eye for detail and accuracy.

    • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

You will play a key role in ensuring our client's logistics partners receive accurate and timely payments for Rail, Truck, and Marine freight services.
    In this role, you will build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and service providers while managing the end-to-end freight payables process. You will analyze and process invoices, maintain vendor account accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and ensure seamless financial operations within our client's logistics network.

    Responsibilities:

    • Analyze, enter, and manage multiple types of freight invoices for Rail, Truck, and Marine transportation.

    • Ensure invoices are processed accurately and payments flow through systems as expected.

    Qualifications:

    • Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Accounting/Finance, or a related field.

    • Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

    • Exceptional organizational skills with high attention to detail.

    • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

    • SAP experience is strongly preferred.

    • A motivated self-starter with a focus on accuracy, results, and continuous improvement.

    Key Position Functions:

    • Responsible for inbound and outbound freight for manufacturing (US and Canada) and branch locations (US specific).
    • Provide coding for Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) classification system.
    • Ensure customs compliance for international freight.
    • Work directly with freight forwarders to ensure best route and cost option.
    • Lead domestic standard and hot shot freight options (US specific).
    • Reduce overall spending for logistics group and work with Import forwarders to ensure best routing of inbound and outbound freight.
    • Approval of freight, crating, and broker invoices for processing.
    • Provide tracking for Ocean, Air and Truck freight and communicating that statue of these shipments internally as required.
    • Develop KPIs for group as directed by Supply Chain Manager.
    • Support the set up and maintenance of formal contracts for courier, truck, air and ocean providers for incoming and outgoing freight.
    • Provide inbound/outbound freight quotations as required.
    • Review of customs entries to ensure accuracy and submission of amendment requests as required.
    • Maintain electronic filing system for customs entries and amendments (B3 & B2) (Canada Specific).

    Preferred Candidates Will Possess a Combination of the Following:

    • College degree in Business, Supply Chain or Logistics or equivalent experience
    • New Grad or 1-2 years’ experience in logistics including experience with customs
    • Superior time management and organizational skills
    • Solid negotiating skills
    • Exceptional customer service, interpersonal and communication skills
    • Advance proficiency using MS Office applications
    • ERP Skills (SAP preferred)
    • Working knowledge of 6A and 6D Wellhead, Gate Valve Check Valve and Chokes would be considered an asset
    • Working Knowledge of HTS classification system
    • Understanding of manufacturing environment
    • The ability to work effectively individually or in a team environment
