    OVERVIEW:
    Embark on a dynamic journey as a Part-time Supply Chain Associate, where every day offers a new opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of supply chain excellence. In addition to managing inventory, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting business-to-business operations by administering procurement, sourcing, and quoting functions that seamlessly meet the needs of our customers and drive the success of their business. This position is for our branch located at 10-5200 64 Ave SE, Calgary, AB T2C 3Y6.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
    o Managing branch inventory levels
    o Administering procurement functions, including purchase orders and backorder management
    o Estimating/quoting prices and sourcing product
    o Coordinating resources to respond to customer supply chain needs
    o Supporting accounts receivable activities
    o Making deliveries with a company vehicle as necessary
    o Performing other duties as needed to ensure branch success

    REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
    The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:
    o 18 years of age or older, due to the nature of work
    o Possess a current full valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located (including successful completion of any applicable graduated license program for your state or province) as well as the ability to meet our driving record requirements to use a company vehicle, as needed
    o Possess or are working towards a degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Management, Marketing, Sales or related field of study OR have customer service or industry related work experience
    o Excellent written and oral communication skills
    o Proficient computer skills
    o Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented
    o Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency
    o Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities

    Position Summary

    We are looking for a highly motivated Logistics & Procurement Coordinator to join our Operations team in Calgary. This role is designed for an ambitious individual looking to establish a career within the Audiovisual (AV) industry from the ground up. The successful candidate will manage the physical logistics of our Calgary warehouse while providing support to our procurement department. This position offers a clear trajectory for professional growth into advanced roles such as Purchasing, Technical Installation, or Sales.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Warehouse Operations: Responsibilities include operating a forklift (certification provided), unloading vendor freight, and receiving inventory into our software system with high precision. Consolidate customer products and arrange outbound shipments for Just-in-Time delivery.

    • Inventory & Staging Management: Oversee the organization of secure storage areas and the staging of pallets for local installation teams and satellite branches. Maintain a structured, safe, and highly organized facility at all times.

    • Procurement & Data Administration: Support the procurement team by generating purchase orders, tracking vendor ETAs, and performing accurate data entry within our software system.

    • Strategic Support: Cross-train with the Procurement Manager to provide operational redundancy. Over time, the Coordinator will assist in identifying procurement risks and managing logistics for large-scale integration projects.

    Qualifications and Skills

    • Organizational Excellence: Proven ability to manage complex physical environments and maintain meticulous digital records.

    • Technical Aptitude: Strong computer literacy and a natural interest in Audio, Video, and Lighting technology.

Updating purchase orders, including pricing and lead times using order acknowledgments provided by vendors. Expedite purchase orders, ensuring on-time delivery. Understand production run rates and be able to delay shipments if delivery cadence exceeds production. Work with the materials team to regularly close out and resolve older open orders. This includes issues such as quantity discrepancies, paperwork errors and incorrect parts. This position would coordinate returns as needed with vendors. This position also works closely with accounting to correct and investigate any pricing issues. The ability to remain organized and work with all departments at the same time is critical to success in this role.
