We are presently looking for a proactive and efficient person to join our dynamic team as a Logistics Coordinator. The incumbent will work out of our Calgary Warehouse and perform the following duties.
Warehouse Logistics
· Shipping and receiving of all materials and equipment, including advising Project Managers of status of deliveries
· Maintaining an inventory of tools, equipment and materials
· Delivering materials to site as required, overnight stays are to be expected.
· Assisting in obtaining pricing for Project Managers and estimators
· Arranging maintenance of company vehicles
· Arranging inspection of all safety equipment and ensuring all certifications are up to date.
· Arranging repair/replacement of defective tools and equipment
· Other tasks as assigned to assist in the smooth operation of the company
Required Training and Experience
- Self starter able to multi-task and set priorities
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid driver's license
- Flexible and able to travel on short notice
- Previous experience in a similar role while not necessary would be considered and asset
- Knowledge of the water and waste water field would be considered an asset.

Position Purpose
The Shipper Receiver is a key member of the Parts Department and plays an important role in supporting customers, technicians, and sales staff. This position is responsible for ensuring parts are received accurately, stored properly, and shipped on time. By maintaining an organized and efficient warehouse, the Shipper Receiver helps keep inventory accurate, reduces delays, and ensures the right parts are available when needed.
Key Responsibilities
The Shipper Receiver is responsible for receiving, storing, shipping, and organizing parts. This includes:
Assisting customers with parts orders and providing excellent customer service.
Receiving products from suppliers and customers using company-provided equipment.
Storing parts in the correct warehouse locations and updating inventory records to maintain accuracy.
Preparing and processing incoming and outgoing shipments, including proper labeling and documentation.
Assisting with vendor parts returns and ensuring all required paperwork is completed.
Preparing and processing core returns, including inspecting, packaging, and completing required documentation.
Helping with physical inventory counts and inventory control activities.
Picking, packing, and preparing parts orders for delivery based on requests from the parts team.
Obtaining purchase orders or approvals when required for billing purposes.
Supporting other team members and departments as needed.
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
Required Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates must:
Have a basic understanding of warehouse and shipping/receiving operations.
Be willing and able to learn heavy-duty truck and trailer parts and related terminology.

Position Summary:
Under minimum supervision, performs warehouse worker duties. Assignments require the exercise of independent discretion, judgment and a thorough understanding of company/department policies and procedures. Employees will work both independently and as part of workgroups or teams.
This position provides the labour required for the warehouse operations within the distribution centre.
Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
ReplenishmentKeep pick-slots full; replenish line, flow racks, and bulk locations
Rotate inventory; this is crucial in the freezer and cooler as well as items in the dry area.
All movement of product must be kept track of as well as followed by the physical movement of the product
Place all product in proper pick-slots, never set product off to the side
Take damaged product to recoup area
Keep up to date on product changes, substitutions, and promotions
Freezer/Cooler Selection
Perform freezer/cooler selection: Accurately selecting product to be loaded on company trailers
Ensure proper stop sequence and construction on all pallets/carts selected
Ensure loading of product selected is in its proper place on the company trailer
Responsible for load quality and reliability
Put away all returns at the end of assigned shift
Dry Selection
Perform dry selection: Accurately selecting product to be loaded on company trailers.
Ensure proper stop sequence and construction on all pallets selected.

Perform receiving duties: The accurate receiving of all in-bound loads
Correct any labeling issues during put away or restocking that could result in errors

ROLE SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the Distribution Warehouse Operations Manager, the Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating domestic and international shipments, managing transportation-related activities, and serving as the key link between carriers, warehouses, and internal stakeholders. This role ensures the timely movement of goods, accurate freight cost tracking, and effective communication across multiple locations to support operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Schedule transportation and track loads from pickup through final delivery.
Communicate with carriers regarding shipment status, scheduling, service concerns, and delivery issues.
Respond to carrier inquiries and maintain positive working relationships with transportation providers.
Coordinate freight costs and review transportation invoices to support the Accounts Payable process.
Work closely with warehouse teams to schedule inbound and outbound loads and communicate shipment updates.
Act as a liaison between management, warehouses, and branch locations to ensure efficient flow of information and operations.
Maintain accurate spreadsheets and records for shipment tracking, freight costs, and load traceability.
Generate reports related to transportation activities, freight expenditures, and logistics performance.
Investigate and assist in resolving transportation disruptions, delayed deliveries, freight damages, and other shipping-related issues.
Utilize ERP systems and other logistics tools to support transportation planning, tracking, and reporting.

Education
